Program Description

Diversion offers youth, who have been cited for a violation of the law, the opportunity to "make it right" in their community. Youth and their parent(s)/guardian(s) are assessed and given directive(s) to help them make better decisions.

Eligibility

17 years or younger at time of offense.

Services

  • Assessments and Referrals

  • Anger Management and S.T.O.P.P. classes.

  • Counseling Information

  • Community Referrals/ Information

Cost

  • There is an assessment fee of $25 charged for Diversion with an addtional fee of $45.00 required if the S.T.O.P.P. Class is assigned. 

  • The Anger Management Classes require an assessment fee based on income level along with a fee of $10 per class for the 8 class curriculum.
