Opening Doors

Purpose Statement

To create an endowment fund for Center for Human Services and raise monies for current program support.  Donations will be divided 50/50 between these two areas, unless otherwise stated by the donor.  Our goal is to raise 1 million dollars by December 2008.

OPENING DOORS Campaign

Center for Human Services is a LOCAL community agency dedicated to serving the children and families of Stanislaus County.  With the rapid growth of population in the Central Valley, the needs of our most vulnerable families often outpace the services currently in place to meet those needs.  We are fortunate that Center for Human Services (CHS) is here with “cutting edge” programs to address this critical issue.  CHS has provided prevention, education, and counseling services since 1970 ~ helping thousands of children and families annually.

Through federal, state and local grants, school contracts, foundation awards and fundraising efforts, CHS has survived by managing its resources very well.  With the increasing demand for services, CHS is adopting new strategies to ensure its continued success.  The “Opening Doors Campaign” was launched to raise one million dollars by June 2008.  These funds will be used for both program support and the development of an endowment fund to ensure that the agency thrives in the future.  Through this campaign, individuals can actively play a part in supporting the invaluable services provided by CHS, thus positively affecting children and families throughout our region.  100% of your donation goes to support LOCAL services throughout Stanislaus County and surrounding communities.

How you can Open Doors

Community donations from individuals are vital for current program support, as well as the future of Center for Human Services.  While CHS is very successful in obtaining government and foundation funding, these dollars are usually restricted for specific purposes.  The “Opening Doors Campaign” will enable CHS to continue our youth and family programs and meet the increasing demand for services as our communities grow.  With your help, we can keep the doors open to shelter, safety, hope and healing.

Donation Levels and Associated Benefits

The Opening Doors Campaign was put into place to provide funding for program support, but also to create an endowment that will provide unrestricted program funding for years to come.  When you donate to Center for Human Services, payment can be made by one of the following three options below.  In appreciation of your contribution, Center for Human Services has established benefits to our supporters based on the level of your donation.  To view these benefits, scroll down below the donation options.
