Edible Extravaganza 2008

• This fabulous “tasting” attracted more than 1,800 people last year, who sampled some of the finest gourmet cuisine and beverages available in our area.

For 22 years, Edible Extravaganza has continued to grow as Center for Human Services’ signature fundraiser.  While helping to fund the various prevention, education & counseling services offered by Center for Human Services, this event has also become the premiere Central Valley event for showcasing the skills, talents and products of local restaurants, caterers, bakers, vintners and beverage purveyors. 

Please join our underwriters Prime Shine Express, Save Mart Supermarkets and The Modesto Bee in this fun and festive affair.  The public is invited to this elegant evening at $40.00 for pre-paid tickets or $50.00 at the door to taste a vast array of gourmet food and drink. 

All funds raised at Edible Extravaganza remain in the Central Valley to support the programs and services of Center for Human Services.  CHS is a community-based non-profit agency providing counseling, intervention and prevention programs to children, teens and families in cooperation with schools, law enforcement, mental health and other social service agencies.  Our values: dedicated to serving, responsive to needs, innovative in programming, respectful of differences and compassionate toward others are woven into our organization and the services we provide.  We look forward to the future and the continued opportunity to help children and families build upon their strengths and in return create healthier communities.
