NAMED FINALIST IN CLEARINGHOUSE CDFI STORYTELLING COMPETITION
CDFI to Award $10,000 Based on Public Votes
Center for Human Services has been selected as one of 10 finalists in Clearinghouse CDFI’s Storytelling competition. Clearinghouse CDFI will award $10,000 based on votes from the public beginning July 23, 2013. Public voting ends August 11, 2013.
Clearinghouse CDFI’s competition will showcase 10 stories of non profits from all over the country during the public voting period. Public voting starts tomorrow, July 23, 2013 and ends August 11, 2013. Visitors to www.cdfichallenge.com can vote once a day for the organization that they feel is most deserving of the $10,000. Center for Human Services shared a story about Pathways, our shelter for 18-21 year olds experiencing homelessness, and it will be one of the 10 organizations highlighted for voting.
Local residents are encouraged to support Center for Human Services and their quest for $10,000. If Center for Human Services receives the most votes and is awarded the $10,000 it will be allocated to the Pathways program, a program that is currently operating at a deficit.
