Position Summary

Responsible for supervision of youth through monitoring daily routines, education and other activities.  Serve as a role model for positive behavior to help youth as they work toward self-sufficiency.  Answer and respond to crisis line, including making appropriate referrals.

High School Diploma required, college courses or work in related field preferred.  1 to 2 years experience working with youth.  Prior experience working with high risk youth and families.   Meet all state licensing requirements for group home; including all employees/applicants must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age. Requires First Aid training within seven (7) days of employment, re-certification as necessary, TB testing annually, FBI background, Department of Justice clearance and CCL Child Abuse Index check. Pass agency paid health screening and/or drug testing, if required. Valid California driver’s license and current proof of vehicle insurance. Pass agency paid MVR clearance with no more than 2 points- if you are under the age of 25 our insurance company will not allow any points.

$12.73 per hour (Differential pay for Bilingual English/Spanish and Depends on Experience)


Days, Evenings and Weekends; in 12 hours shift / on-call / per diem
