Youth Substance Abuse Counseling

School-based substance abuse counseling is available for youth struggling with drugs and/or alcohol.

Program Description
The Youth Substance Abuse Counseling Program is working with schools across Stanislaus County to provide counseling and support to youth ages 12 and up. Call your child’s school to request services or call us at (209) 526-1440.

Eligibility

• Youth ages 12 and up
• Enrolled in school in Stanislaus County

Adolescent Substance Use Treatment Groups

Program Description
Treatment groups are open to youth ages 12-17. Following a comprehensive assessment, the youth will participate in developing an individualized treatment plan with his/her counselor. Typically, this will include 12 weekly outpatient group meetings, relapse prevention, cognitive-behavioral interventions training, contingency management, communications, family relations, socialization, and introduction to finding community support. The curricula we use are trauma-informed and evidence-based, delivered by caring and compassionate Substance Use Disorders counselors.

• Medi-Cal recipients

Adult Substance Use Treatment Groups

We have substance use treatment groups available for adults.

• Group days and times vary by location
• Outpatient and intensive outpatient groups
