Center for Human Services offers a variety of mental health services to our community.

We provide counseling services, support, and education for adults, children, individuals, couples and families both through our clinics and in the schools.  Contact us for more information.

Children’s Services

CHS provides counseling services to children (ages 5-21) and their families who have Medi-Cal. This includes case management and medications provided by a psychiatrist.

Services are provided at various schools, Family Resource Centers, and other community locations throughout Stanislaus County.  We offer assessment and treatment for mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, behavioral disorders and more.

Our counseling services are provided by experienced Masters-level Licensed Marriage Family Therapists, Licensed Clinical Social Workers and Registered Associates or trainees (Registered Associate MFT, Registered Associate Clinical Social Workers, Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselors).

Community Counseling Program

Our Community Counseling Clinic provides counseling services for individuals, groups, families, and couples.

Eligibility & Fees

Counseling services are available for children and their families in Stanislaus County, who have Medi-Cal. Adults with Medi-Cal must be members of Health Plan of San Joaquin or Health Net.

Adults and children without Medi-Cal can receive services at our clinic for a fee based on income and number of dependents.  Proof of income is required.

We also accept some private insurances and Employee Assistance Programs (EAP).
