This department supports the mission of Center for Human Services (CHS) through the implementation of sound fundraising and donor centered practices.  We endeavor to bring in unrestricted funds from individual donors, corporations, event sponsors, grant writing, and foundation partners.

Our philosophy in fundraising is to focus on developing meaningful relationships with our donors.  We strive to connect with people who share our values and can see that our work is making a positive difference in the lives of the people we serve.  We have several ways in which individuals and corporations can support CHS.  We conduct an Annual Fund Campaign and hold special events like Edible Extravaganza.  We provide opportunities to give through direct mail and grant awards.  Recently, we started an endowment fund and are now accepting planned gifts.

This department works closely with our Board of Directors who are a philanthropic and influential group of community volunteers.  They assist CHS by providing leadership, personal contributions, ambassadorial work on behalf of CHS and by planning and implementing various fundraising activities.

The communications goal of this department is to share our vision, our history, and current program services with the community, partners, agency supports and families in need.

Our marketing strategies include; the Center Line Newsletter, our Annual Community Report, individual marketing plans for programs, management of social and online media and more.
