Youth and Family Behavioral
Health Center
Health Center
An outpatient behavioral health center will be our newest addition, allowing us to expand access to a continuum of mental health and substance use disorder treatment services for children, youth, young adults and their families
In May 2025, Center for Human Services will be expanding their clinical services with the opening of the Youth & Family Behavioral Health Center. This 7,200 square-foot behavioral health center will feature 12 additional clinic rooms used to treat youth and families. In addition, the new behavioral health center will add 3 new group rooms. In December 2023, CHS was awarded a state grant (BHCIP) that allowed with the construction of this new building.
Steve Collins, Behavioral Health Director, expressed his excitement, stating, “It is truly amazing to think about the lives that could be changed. A few short months ago, this was nothing but a dirt lot.” And coming soon, CHS will be able to meet the needs of more youth and families than ever before.
The upcoming addition will compliment CHS’ two existing buildings, the Youth Navigation Center, and the Main Office. Together, these structures will ensure that CHS can continue to meet families where they are, offering behavioral health treatment, and helping to end youth homelessness. All of this together helps to fulfill the CHS mission of Changing Lives, Building Futures, and Helping Families
