Reflecting on this change Gina says, “I can’t really say that I pursued a career in nonprofit work, but more so I fell in love with the nonprofit sector when I started volunteering with CHS. I fell in love with CHS and everything that it stands for.” Gina was excited to be a part of the impact that CHS programs and services have in the community. She describes the agency as impactful and filled with caring, compassionate, and fun people.

As the new Executive Director, Gina strives to be a servant leader that fosters an environment where staff feel supported and heard. She emphasizes that employees are an important part of the organization, and she wants them to thrive in their roles. The hard work and dedication of employees at CHS are a constant source of inspiration for Gina.

Looking forward, Gina expresses gratitude to all CHS partners and donors for fostering the health and well-being of our communities through their support of our prevention, intervention, treatment, counseling, and shelter services. Gina is dedicated to continuing CHS’s mission of changing lives and building futures through programs that have strengthened and supported youth and families over the last 50 years.

Gina expresses her enthusiasm for the future of CHS, acknowledging that change can bring uncertainty. She adds, “I am truly excited about what the future holds and look forward to continuing to show up where we are needed most.” With collective leadership, Gina plans to continue the legacy of Center for Human Services ensuring we evolve to meet the ever-changing needs of the community, by being innovative and adapting to changes and challenges that may arise in the future. With Gina leading the way, we are excited about the future and the continued positive impact of CHS in our community.
