1995 - 1995
We celebrated our 25th Anniversary.
We began Friday Night Live (FNL) Kids for 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students and provided anti-alcohol, drug and tobacco messages as well as conflict resolution and handgun violence curricula.
Through a contract with Stanislaus County Health Services Agency, an Information and Education program was developed to provide sex education, teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted disease prevention information to teens ages 14-18 in school and community settings. A counseling clinic was also created at Stanislaus Medical Center (SMC) through a grant from Stanislaus County Health Services Agency to provide individual, family and group counseling to Medi-Cal recipients through SMC’s Family Practice Clinic.
Additional school sites were added to the Community Counseling Program’s school-based mental health services.
